Marguerite A "Peggy" Kerr
Marguerite Ann “Peggy” Kerr, 69, of Marine City, died Sunday, August 6, 2017 after a long and courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis.
She was born September 22, 1947 in Algonac to the late Lawrence and Nora Brady. She married William “Bill” Kerr on February 17, 1996 in Port Huron.
Mrs. Kerr attended First Presbyterian Church. She loved her many pets, gardening and crafts. She and her husband enjoyed travelling, especially by boat, and visited many areas in the Great Lakes and Canada. She was a dedicated and loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family and so many others whose lives were touched by her loving, caring and humorous personality.
She is survived by her husband, Bill; two sons, Howard Gauthier of Arizona and Tim Gauthier of Capac; five grandchildren, Trent, Stephen, Susan, Ireland and Shannon; a brother, William (Eleanor) Brady of Algonac; two sisters, Kathleen (John) Bradley of Marine City and Sharon (Jim) French of Clyde; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Deanna DeVille; and two brothers, Lawrence Brady Jr. and Thomas Brady Sr.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday in the Marysville Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 12, 2017 in First Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Jason Pittman will officiate.
Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery, Marine City.
