Carol Sawdon

November 22nd, 1941 to August 13th, 2017

Carol Ann Sawdon, 75, of Kimball Township, died Sunday, August 13, 2017.

She was born November 22, 1941 in Ruth, Michigan to the late Thomas and Agnes Clor. She married Bruce E. Sawdon on April 22, 1961. He preceded her in death on October 12, 2002.

Carol was employed with Bill MacDonald Ford and Northgate Ford for over 30 years. She also worked for 12 years at Meijer’s in Marysville. She was a member of Holy Trinity Parish, St. Stephens Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing euchre, Yahtzee, going to bingo and was always there to lend a helping hand.

She is survived by her children, Thomas (Laura) Sawdon and Tammy Ann Sawdon; seven grandchildren, Timothy (Melissa) Radatz, Aaron, Alexander, Sarah, Emily, Hannah and Rachel Sawdon; two great grandchildren, Nathan and Savanna Radatz; sister, Jean (Dennis) Lemanski; three brothers, Thomas Clor, Gordon (Karen) Clor and Mark (Terri) Clor; sister-in-law, Gail Clor; many nieces, nephews, and cousins including her best friend and first cousin, Judy Fraelich; and her favorite cat, Milo. She was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Sawdon and brother, Robert Clor.

Visitation will be 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.

Mrs. Sawdon will lie in state at Holy Trinity Parish - St. Stephen Catholic Church on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. The Reverend Salvatore Palazzolo will officiate.

The Rite of Committal will follow at Caswell Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Timothy Radatz, Alex and Aaron Sawdon, Gordie, Tom and Mark Clor.

Memorials may be made to St. Stephens Catholic Church.
