Sharon Mae Langolf, 84, of Port Huron, died Friday, August 18, 2017.

She was born February 13, 1933 in Port Huron to the late George and Leona Cray. She married John A. Schuman in August 1955. He died in 1982. She married John Langolf on August 26, 2000. He died June 2, 2017.

Mrs. Langolf attended Port Huron schools, graduating in 1950. She graduated from the SCCCC nursing program in 1970. She was a registered nurse at Port Huron and Mercy Hospitals and then owned “Schuman’s Nursing Home for the Elderly” for 13 years. She loved watching Jeopardy, wintering in Florida and solving crossword puzzles. She was a very organized person who loved to take care of everyone.

She is survived by her children, Kurt (Bella) Schuman, Stephanie (Barry) Stephens, Liane (Shane) Kemp and Marium (Greg) Johnson; 11 grandchildren; many great grandchildren, a daughter-in-law, Ramona Toms; a sister, Donna Voight; a half-brother, Don (Fran) Cray; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Eric Schuman; two brothers, Robert and Mel Cray; a half-sister, Patty Sirola; and a brother-in-law, William Voight.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 in Woodland Cemetery Chapel. The Rev. Max Amstutz will officiate.
