Beulah Irene Hines Belanger

Beulah Irene Hines Belanger, 97, of Clyde Township, died Sunday, August 20, 2017.

She was born January 14, 1920 in Delafield, Illinois to the late Laban and Etta Cross. She married Comm Hines on April 9, 1939. He died August 22, 1970. She married Jack Belanger on May 15, 1976. He died January 3, 2008.

Mrs. Belanger was employed for many years as a substitute teacher in the Port Huron Area School District and in Clio, Michigan. She was also a teacher for the intellectually disabled at the old Krafft Road School. She worked in the lunch room at Chippewa Middle School for many years.

She is survived by four children, Star (Richard) Hartman of Clyde, Jacob (Cathy) Hines of Indiana, Deborah (James) Watson of Port Huron and step-daughter, Pat Pavlov of Port Huron; 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Comm Hines, Jr. on June 23, 2013; three brothers; and two sisters.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 26, 2017 in Wadhams Baptist Church with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Pastor Rich Reinhart will officiate.

Burial will be in Kinney Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
