Sarah J Strieter

Sarah Jane Strieter, 57, of Clyde Township died unexpectedly after a short illness on Monday, October 30, 2017.

She was born April 21, 1960 in Port Huron to the late Robert and Doris Ganhs. She married Gary Strieter on May 19, 1984 in Port Huron.

Mrs. Strieter was employed as an elementary school librarian for both Kimball and Indian Woods Elementary. She was a very creative person who enjoyed collecting angels, reading and traveling to Disney World.

She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Gary; two children, Ian and Ariana Strieter; siblings, Debbie (Herb) Lewis, Tim (Ellen) Ganhs, Becky (Tom) Rich, Dan (Anne Marie) Ganhs and Janice Ganhs; mother-in-law, Beverly Strieter; brothers-in-law, Larry (Joyce) Strieter and Mark Strieter; sister-in law, Lisa (Paul) Round; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 2-4 & 7-9 Friday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, November 4, 2017 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Give Kids The World Village or to the wishes of the family.
