Elbert D Wilson
Elbert Dennis Wilson, 88, of Fort Gratiot, died Sunday, November 12, 2017.
He was born September 16, 1929 in Blairsville, Georgia to the late Abraham and Mary Wilson. He married Nancy L. Grimson on July 11, 1981 in Port Huron.
Elbert served in the U.S. Air Force. He was employed with Ford Tractor Company until his retirement. He was a member of Grace Ministry Center, Smiths Creek Lodge #491 F. & A.M., Huron Chapter #27 Royal Arch Masons, Port Huron Commandery #7 Knights Templar, Mt. Vernon Chapter #461 O.E.S., Blue Water Scottish Rite Club and 32nd Degree Masons Valley of Detroit.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy; children, Shelly Webb, Mark (Brenda) Wilson, Carl Grimson and Nancy Jo (Daniel) Werner; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brother, Thomas (Alice) Wilson; sister, Martha Deever; sister-in-law, Lorraine (Ray) Foglesong; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Thursday in the Marysville Funeral Home. A Masonic service will be held at 7 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, November 17, 2017 in the Marysville Funeral Home. The Reverend Max Amstutz will officiate.
Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Wales Township. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Air Force and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
