Robert "Bob" Lee

Robert “Bob” Lee, 87, of Marysville, died Monday, December 4, 2017.

He was born March 11, 1930 in Sandusky to the late George and Eliza Lee. He married Wanda Loutzenhiser on March 5, 1949 in Port Huron.

Bob was employed with Prestolite Wire for 40 years, retiring in 1989. He served in the U.S. Army. He was a longtime member of Moose Lodge #158, B.P.O.E. Lodge #343 and American Legion J. Edward Mallorey Post #449. He loved to hunt, golf and play cards. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and never missed a chance to watch his grandkids in sports, music or dance.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Wanda; three children, Robert R. Lee (Sharon L. Parker), Brenda Lee-Gresell and Deborah (William) O’Neill; five grandchildren, Michelle L. Lee, Eric D. Lee, Jeffrey R. Lee, Kristin (R.D.) Gamble and Patrick Lee O’Neill; three great-grandchildren, Alexis, Abrie and Lena; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Robert Gresell; and 12 siblings.

Visitation will be 1-4 p.m. Friday in the Marysville Funeral Home. At 4 p.m., military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Army and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
