Nedra "Kelly" Bennett

Nedra “Kelly” Bennett, 66, of Port Huron, died Saturday, December 9, 2017.

She was born January 7, 1951 in Port Huron to Virginia and the late David Gilbert. She married Galen “Ray” Bennett on June 26, 1968 in Grand Rapids.

Kelly considered herself to be a jack of all trades. During her life, she worked as a waitress, factory employee, school bus driver, babysitter, and manager of a Chiropractic office. She enjoyed traveling, going to the casino, bowling and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Ray; her mother, Virginia Vanderstel; children, Galene (Jeff) Young, David Bennett and Michael Bennett; son-in-law, David Jones; grandchildren, Deanna, Kristen and Kalene Bennett, Fala and Gavin Young and Michael, Kaleb, Derek and Bronson Bennett; great grandchildren, Wyatt, Wayne Jr., Addysen, Hannah and Geovanni; siblings, Bobby (Bonnie) Vanderstel, Missy (Bob) Goodell, Tina Gilbert and Robin Gilbert; step-sisters, Debbi (Steve) Baker, Carol and Barbara VanderStel; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Julie Jones and a brother, Michael Gilbert

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon, December 12, 2017 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. The Reverend Max Amstutz will officiate.
