Evelyn J Krafft

Evelyn Krafft, 83, of Fort Gratiot, died Saturday, December 10, 2017.

She was born February 27, 1934 in Port Huron to the late Ralph and Elizabeth Moore. She married Charles Henry Dawson on February 14, 1953 in Port Huron. He died July 14, 1985. She married Gerald E. Krafft in 1991. He died June 18, 2009.

Mrs. Krafft was employed at Algonac Savings Bank before her retirement. She enjoyed wintering in Polk City, Florida. She love the Tigers and the Red Wings.

She is survived by two daughters, Sandra “Sandy” (Michael) Geremesz and Christine “Tina” Poulterer; eight grandchildren, Michael (Christine) Geremesz, Matthew (Mary) Geremesz, Jeffrey (Kristie) Geremesz, Christopher (Stacey) Geremesz, Joseph Geremesz (Claire Beyer), Natasha Greene (Nate Tallent), Heather (Steve) Hunley and Sheila Greene (Morris Wakeham); 10 great-grandchildren; and her caregiver and friend, Sue Austin. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Ann Greene; a daughter-in-law, Lillian Poulterer; and four siblings, Erwin (Leona) Moore, Catherine Osgood, Florence (Charles) Wilds and Robert (Marian) Moore.

Graveside services will be held at Lakeside Cemetery Chapel, Port Huron in January.
