Nancy J O'Donnell

Nancy Jane O’Donnell, 53, of Van Nuys, California, formerly of Port Huron, went home to be with The Lord on Friday, December 29, 2017 from her home with her loving husband by her side.

She was born July 22, 1964 in Port Huron to Otto “Dick” and the late Ruth Mohni. She married Darrin O’Donnell on August 26, 2006 in Port Huron.

Upon moving to California, Nancy quickly rose to the top of her successful career as a property manager on the prestigious Wilshire Corridor. She loved telling and teaching people about the love of Jesus her Lord and enjoyed life, spending time at the ocean, boogie boarding, white water rafting, traveling and loved all of God's creatures.

She is survived by her husband and best friend of 28 years, Darrin; her father, Otto “Dick” Mohni; three siblings, Robert (Dorothy) Mohni, Jesse (Pamela) Mohni and Richard Mohni; many wonderful nieces and nephews; an everlasting bond with Irene Schuck, Sarah Cates and Nichole Hatcher; her childhood friend, Carol Miller; and her Macaw, “Sweetpea.” She was preceded in death by her mom, Ruth Mohni; sister, Sue Mohni; and niece, Jessica Ayrton.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 12, 2018 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. The Rev. Kevin Totty will officiate.

Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Port Huron Township. Pallbearers will be Robert Mohni, Jesse Mohni, Richard Mohni, Larry Schuck, Craig Schuck and Mick Papineau.
