William J "Bill" Spiegel

William James “Bill” Spiegel, 82, of Emmett, died Monday, January 15, 2018.

He was born September 20, 1935 in Emmett to the late Henry and Angela Spiegel. He married JoAnn Garnett on June 2, 1973 in Emmett. She died February 6, 2012.

Mr. Spiegel was a machine operator with Prestolite Wire for 33 years. After retiring, he ran a vending machine business for many years. He was a lifelong member and usher at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. He was an avid bowler and gardener and his favorite color was orange.

He is survived by his daughter, Anna (Wayne) Bowman; two grandchildren, Robert Bowman and Samantha (William) Reid; four great grandchildren, Tyler (Jenna) Nikel, Anthony Nikel, Tori Reid and William Reid; and several sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Mr. Spiegel will lie in state from 10 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2018 in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. The Rev. Joseph Gagnon will officiate.
