Harold F. "Dutch" Delor
Harold Francis “Dutch” Delor, 74, of Lakeport, died Friday, March 2, 2018.
He was born December 10, 1943 in St. Clair to the late Thomas and June Delor.
Harold served in the U.S. Army in France and Germany during the Vietnam War. He was employed as a master mechanic until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and was a master of all trades. Harold was a jokester and a flirt with the girls. He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. He was a super husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather and friend and above all, superman.
He is survived by his wife, Marlene; children, Roger Hadrich (Dawn Diaz), Wayne Hadrich, Larry (Angie) Delor, Randy Hadrich, Jamie (Jen) Delor and Todd Delor; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; brothers, Tom (Rosie) Delor and David (Linda) Delor; sister, Joy (Gary) Schmitz; mother-in-law, Lanina Rushton; sister-in-law, Jenny Delor; several nieces and nephews; longtime friends, Chuck and Janet Clark, and Scott Morrison; and his canine companion, Bella. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Dennis, Kent and Billy; sisters, Jill and Annie; and father-in-law, Oramel Rushton.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Wednesday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, March 8, 2018 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:00 am. Deacon Dennis Crimmins will officiate.
Burial will be in Burtchville Township Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Army and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
Pallbearers will be Chase Delor, Chance Delor, Jagger Delor, Roger Hadrich, Jamie Delor, Larry Delor and Todd Delor.
