Marvin L "Mike" Niles

Marvin L. “Mike” Niles, 84, of Fort Gratiot, died Tuesday, April 3, 2018.

He was born December 24, 1933 in Cass City to the late Harry and Mabel Niles. He married Glenda F. Sample on June 2, 1956 in Port Huron. She died March 16, 2016.

Mike was employed with Prestolite Wire Company prior to his retirement. He was also a talented maker of stained glass and enjoyed wood carving and fishing. He served in the U.S. Army in Germany.

He is survived by his daughter, Cathy Mousseau; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Louise Wollenschlager and Noreen Niles; brother-in-law, Ronald (Billie) Sample; close friend, Helen Niles; nephew, Matt Mayer; and several nieces. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael; a grandson, Michael Niles II; twin brother, Morris “Ike” Niles; and a sister, Ercel (Joe) Mayer.

Cremation has taken place.
