Florence M Neumann

Florence Maxine Neumann, 97, of Marysville, died Tuesday, April 3, 2018 surrounded by her family.

She was born October 9, 1920 in Princeton, Indiana, to the late Virgil and Ethel Jones. She married Arthur J. Neumann on October 4, 1941 in St. Stephen Catholic Church, Port Huron. They moved to Marysville in 1955. Arthur died March 29, 1997.

Mrs. Neumann was a payroll clerk with the St. Clair County Road Commission prior to her retirement. She was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by three daughters, Suzanne (Kenneth) Thomas of Lake Orion, Patricia Lukasak of Marysville and Sharon (Ronald) Lukasak of St. Clair; a son, Paul (Dennise) Neumann of Lansing; 11 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Arthur J. Neumann III and Peter S. Neumann; a granddaughter, Heather Neumann-Stolt; and her sister, Helen Decker.

Mrs. Neumann will lie in state from 10 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2018 in St. Christopher Catholic Church. The Rev. James Arwady will officiate.

The Rite of Committal will follow in Riverlawn Cemetery. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
