Gary L Martin

Gary Lee Martin, 66, of Port Huron, died unexpectedly on Sunday, May 13, 2018.

He was born February 11, 1952 in Harriman, Tennessee to the late CW and Sally Ann Martin. He married Debra Diane Danver on November 4, 1976 in Port Huron.

Mr. Martin was employed at Riverside Metals and then U.S. Manufacturing until his retirement. He was an avid animal lover and enjoyed bowling, traveling and fishing.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Debra; a son, James (Susan) Martin; two grandchildren, Jane Martin and Jacob Barnstable; a brother, Donald (Ruth) Martin; a brother-in-law, David (Karen) Danver; a sister-in-law, Kay (John) Dulmage; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles W. “Willy” Martin.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Wednesday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 17, 2018 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. The Rev. Antonio Velez Jr. of Path of Mercy Pentecostal Church will officiate.

Burial will be in Caswell Cemetery, Kimball Township. Pallbearers will be Dan Sillivent, Nick Petito, William Watson, JR Martin, Ed Groh and Gerry Dafoe.
