Elizabeth McEachen

Elizabeth Dorothea McEachen, 98, of Kimball Township, died Thursday, June 21, 2018.

She was born October 20, 1919 in Port Huron to the late Paul and Clare Geick. She married Wilfred McEachen on June 29, 1940 in Port Huron. He died January 11, 2000.

Mrs. McEachen worked for the St. Clair County Library. She loved to cook and bake and her specialty was butterscotch pies. She was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church and the St. Anne’s Altar Society.

She is survived by two children, Patricia Riebandt and Wilfred McEachen; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a great great grandson. She was preceded in death by a son, Richard McEachen; and a sister, Frieda Young.

Mrs. McEachen will lie in state from 10 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 25, 2018 in Holy Trinity Parish St. Stephen Catholic Church. The Very Rev. Salvatore Palazzolo, KHS, will officiate.

Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Port Huron.
