Diane Ressler

Diane Ann Ressler, 74, of Marysville, died Friday, June 22, 2018.

She was born November 11, 1943 in Jackson to the late John and Joan Sarafin. She married Clair Ressler on February 4, 1967.

Diane was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Port Huron Hospital and Marwood Nursing and Rehab prior to her retirement. She was a long time Cub Scout Den Mother and was involved in the Catholic Faith Formation Program of the Boy Scouts of America and received the St. George Award. She was very proud that all her boys achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. She enjoyed collecting Christmas Ornaments and loved spending the holidays with her family. She was a long-time member of St. Christopher Catholic Church. Her greatest joy was her six grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Clair; sons, Mark (Tammy), Luke (Shelley) and Matt (Sheri) Ressler; grandchildren, Morgan, Molly, Barrett, Samantha, William and Madi Ressler; sister, Theresa (Hod) Hull; brother, John (Karen) Sarafin, brother-in-law, Mic AuFrance; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Cathy AuFrance.

Visitation will be from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Wednesday in the Marysville Funeral Home. A Scripture Service will be recited at 8:00 pm.

Diane will lie in state from 10:30 am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 am Thursday, June 28, 2018 in St. Christopher Catholic Church. The Reverend James Arwady will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Mark, Luke, Matt, William and Barrett Ressler, and David AuFrance.
