Mary Louise Landschoot
God smiled to welcome home, Mary Louise Landschoot, 91, of Kimball Township, who died Monday, July 9, 2018.
She was born March 1, 1927 in Port Huron to the late George and Margaret Lotermoser. She married her high school sweet heart, Harold “Lynn” Landschoot, on October 2, 1948. He preceded her in death on February 1, 2003.
Mrs. Landschoot was a 1944 graduate of Marysville High School. She was a teacher and worked as an assistant at Askar-Shain Photography for many years. She enjoyed oil painting, reading mystery novels, cake decorating, making jigsaw puzzles and loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by five children, Judy Landschoot, Margaret (Jim) DeVeny, Thomas (Janet) Landschoot, Mary “Boo” (Will) DeVeny and Dan Landschoot; daughter-in-law, Donna Landschoot; 12 grandchildren, Julie, Joel, Angie, Beth, Peggy, James, Tracy, Scott, Nichole, Dayna, Danille and Chris; and nine great grandchildren, Ava, Dominic, Leo, Lily, Emily, Gabe, Sam, Kyle and Emma. She was preceded in death by two sons, George “Joe” and Earl; and a brother, Donald.
Private family services will be held. Burial will be in Riverlawn Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
