Loraine E Smith

Loraine Elizabeth Smith, 85, of Port Huron, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 11, 2018.

She was born December 10, 1932 in Port Huron to the late Charles and Edith McIntyre. She married Orville Smith on October 27, 1956 in North Street.

Mrs. Smith was employed with Port Huron Hospital for 27 years. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She was a longtime member of Westhaven Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Orville; three children, Dennis Smith (Sandy), the Rev. David (Dawn) Smith and Mary (Ken) Gierman; six grandchildren; several great grandchildren; a brother, Milan (Phyllis) McIntyre; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond McIntyre.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 16, 2018 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. The Rev. Randy Pouliot will officiate.

Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Fort Gratiot.
