Eileen J. Ostrander

Eileen Joyce Ostrander, 71, of Marysville, died unexpectedly Friday, July 13, 2018.

She was born April 14, 1947 in Port Huron to the late Ervin and Helen Ramage.

Eileen was a graduate of Port Huron High School. She was instrumental in the establishment of MADD in St. Clair County and was the longtime Victim’s Rights Coordinator for St. Clair County. She enjoyed camping and spending time with all her family and friends.

She is survived by her loving husband George “Butch” Ostrander; six children, Debbie Moser, Debbie Lee Swinson, Duane Decker, Kim (Richard) Shagena and Theo Decker; 23 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; a sister, Bonnie O’Brien Lind; two brothers, Fred (Renee) Leslie and Bobbie (Diane) Leslie; several nieces and nephews; and many foster children who she cared for over the years.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Dawn Decker; sister, Marti and grandchildren, Colton and Ali.

Private services will be held for the family. Cremation arrangements are by Marysville Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to Children’s Hospital Detroit to help combat Infant Pulmonary Hypertension.
