Terry Lee Coleman, 74, of Marysville, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 after a courageous 11-year battle with cancer and Parkinson’s disease.

He was born May 5, 1944 in La Harpe, Illinois, to the late Elmer and Esther Coleman. He married Nancy Dake on May 25, 1963 in Port Huron and they recently celebrated 55 years of marriage.

Mr. Coleman was employed with Dunn Paper for 36 years. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1963 to 1967. He was a member of Griswold Street Baptist Church, serving for 20 years as Treasurer of their Missions Board and assisting in the youth program. He was an umpire for over 20 years and an avid hunter. He especially enjoyed being involved in his children’s and grandchildren’s activities.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy; three children, Bryan (Susan) Coleman, Kendra (Mark) Brandt and Brad Coleman; nine grandchildren, Emily, Andrew and Ethan Coleman, Parker and Sydney Brandt, Tyler and Brady Coleman and Brayden and Benjamin Brennan; a sister, Jane (Reed) Sampson; a sister-in-law, DeeDee (Bill) Brush; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and special friends, Gary and Diane Dodge.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 28, 2018 in Griswold Street Baptist Church with visitation beginning at 10:30 a.m. The Rev. Joel Mitchell and Dr. Tim North will officiate. Terry’s grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Air Force and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
