Mae F Gray

Mae Florence Gray, 81, of Yale, formerly of Berryville, Arkansas, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour on July 25, 2018.

She was born August 31, 1936 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, to the late Louis and Chrystal Mae Copetiuk. She married Gary A. Gray on December 31, 1985 in New Baltimore. He preceded her in death on January 2, 1994.

A loving mother and grandmother, Mae was a remarkable cook who enjoyed spending time with her family. She was most proud of her apple pie. She also enjoyed exploring creative endeavors, including ceramics, paper tole, and dried flower arrangements.

She was a faithful Christian who celebrated 35 years sober.

Mae is survived by her children, Chrystal (Allan C.) Harneck and Barrett (Kimberly) Hugdahl; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind an aunt and uncle and many cousins in Canada who she loved dearly.

She made an impression on everyone she met and leaves behind many beloved friends, and wanted to express her gratitude to the ones that helped her stay independent for these many months.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Wendy; and her brother, Roger Cope.

Private services will be held at a later date.
