Roy E. Wisenbaugh, Jr.
Roy E. Wisenbaugh Jr. passed away on July 26, 2018, at Medi-Lodge in Ft. Gratiot, Michigan after a brief illness.
He was born on January 30, 1945 in Port Huron, Michigan to the late Roy E. Wisenbaugh and the late Mary E. (Chickonoski) Wisenbaugh. "Jim", as he was called by his family, joined the U.S. Marines at the age of 16 and fought in Vietnam. When he got out of the service, he lived and worked in the Harbor Beach, metro Detroit, and Phoenix, AZ areas as a machinist. After retiring from work, he eventually returned to Harbor Beach where he lived for the past several years. Roy was a member of the Harbor Beach America Legion Burhans Hagedon, Post 197. He enjoyed motorcycles, deer hunting, and horses.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Marion (John) Schave and Lillian (James) Schumacher; two nephews, and one great nephew. He is survived by two sons, Beau and Kelly Wisenbaugh; grandchildren, Samantha, Adam and Logan; his sister, Nancy (Allen) Sherman of St Clair Shores, Michigan; a brother-in-law, John Schave of Bad Axe; several aunts and uncles, many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins.
