Joshua James Avedisian, 30, of Elk Township, died Thursday, August 30, 2018.

He was born July 4, 1988 in Port Huron.

Josh was a sales rep for Pepsi and previously worked as a merchandiser for Coke and at Marysville Meijer. He loved playing and coaching baseball and softball. He was currently playing for Tailgators and previously for Imprint House and South Park Expos. He also loved golf and hockey. Josh was an animal lover but most important to him was spending time with his family. Whether it was video games with his son, daddy-daughter dances, or his dog walking adventures with Courtney, Josh was loving life.

He is survived by his fiancée, Courtney Stager; children, Kennedi and Wyatt; his mother, Trina Avedisian and her parents, James (Virginia) Kern and Mary (Dan) Stevens and her sister, Andrea (Ron) Hartson; his father, Wade (Lori) Avedisian and his mother, Elizabeth Avedisian and siblings, Jenny Avedisian, Tracy Avedisian, and Clay (Terri) Avedisian; his best friend, Rich Rhody; lifelong friends, Jordan Kelly and Ryan Hanel; and many other dear family and friends. He was preceded in death by an aunt, Libby Avedisian.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Tuesday in Marysville Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 5, 2018 in Pilgrim Lutheran Church. The Rev. John Hitzeroth will officiate.
