Ronald Richard Thomas, 77, of Clyde Township, died Thursday, August 30, 2018.
He was born July 23, 1941 in Detroit to the late Peter and Olga Audrey Thomas.
Mr. Thomas served in the U.S. Air Force. Early in his career, he managed the camera department at J.L. Hudson in Northland Mall. He later was co-owner of RTS Auto. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans Chapter #1083 and Blue Water Aerie #3702 F.O.E. He was an avid bowler, photographer, enjoyed going to the casino and riding his motorcycle.
He is survived by a brother, Robert Thomas; a sister, Pamela Thomas; two nieces, Kenna (Diamon) Kata and Sarah (Calvin) Bassil; cousin and caregiver, Shannon Riehl (Jim Wright); and many great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Rev. Joe Gagnon will officiate. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Air Force and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Cadillac Memorial Gardens East, Clinton Township.
