Bradd Ferns

Bradd James Ferns, 62, of Fort Gratiot, died Saturday, September 15, 2018.

He was born January 26, 1956 in Port Huron to the late William L. and Doreen P. Ferns. He married Dawn Mueller on June 18, 1983 in Port Huron.

Bradd was employed in heating, cooling and maintenance prior to his retirement. He enjoyed birdwatching, fishing, canoeing, watching football, riding motorcycles and spending time at the cottage in Port Austin. He also loved gardening, landscaping his lawn and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Dawn; son, Herb R. Mueller; daughter-in-law, Deanna Mueller; grandchildren, Mia and MacKenzie Mueller and Nick Simpson; siblings, Howard Ferns, William Ferns and Bonnie Sackrider; sister-in-law, Delores LaVere; many nieces and nephews, including his special niece, Laurie Anglebrandt; and life long friends, Barry Thompson and Tom “Bones” Duncan. He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Doris Foley.

Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 pm Tuesday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, September 19, 2018 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. The Reverend Donald R. Doerzbacher will officiate.
