Charles W Miller

Charles Willis “Chuck” Miller, 91, of Marysville, died Friday, October 12, 2018.

He was born March 24, 1927 in Flint to the late Willis and Florence Miller. He married Gertrude Edwards on June 30, 1956 in Port Huron. She died March 15, 2006.

Mr. Miller was a state employee for 42 years, retiring in 1997 as Deputy Director of the St. Clair County Department of Human Services. He served on the boards of Catholic Social Services and the United Way and was a member of the National Association of Social Workers.

He is survived by niece, Stephanie McRae; nephew, David Farquhar; several cousins including Sandra Goodfellow; and dear friends, Bernice Moncrief and Pat Howe.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 in the Marysville Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. The Reverend Max Amstutz will officiate.

Burial will be in Riverlawn Cemetery, Marysville.
