Robert E Griffith

Robert Edward Griffith, 82, of Port Huron, died Wednesday, October 24, 2018.

He was born July 24, 1936 in Mt. Clemens to the late Orrin and Mildred Griffith. He married Bette Jayne Miller on June 23, 1962 in Pompton Lakes, New Jersey.

Mr. Griffith was a marketing executive with AT & T. He received his bachelor’s degree from Wayne State University and served in the U.S. Navy. He loved history and sailing.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Bette Jayne; a daughter, Julie Bishop Ruiz; three grandchildren, Matthew, Megan and Anna; a sister, Joyce McCarthy; several nieces and nephews; and many special friends and neighbors who provided love and support.

Private services will be held.

Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Hospice or the Blue Water Area Humane Society.
