Barbara L Wisson

Barbara L. Wisson, 77, of Port Huron Township, died Thursday, December 27, 2018.

She was born August 1, 1941 in Port Huron to the late George and Vera James. She married Richard Wisson on April 23, 1960 in Port Huron. He died May 3, 2002.

Mrs. Wisson was concessions manager with McMorran Arena for 30 years. She enjoyed bowling, bingo, going to hockey games and having fun with friends and family.

She is survived by her brother-in-law, Ernie Wisson; nieces and nephews, Debbie (Bruce) Alexander, Luanne Carpenter, Fred (Connie) Baker, Ken (Lucy) Wisson, Fred (Debbie) Wisson and Cheryl (Tim) Donnenworth; and many great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Donald James; and two sisters, Mary Lou (Fred) Baker and Linda Young.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 in Lakeside Cemetery Chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Blue Water Area Humane Society.
