Betty Iles

Betty Jean Iles, 90, of Marysville, died Sunday, December 30, 2018.

She was born September 2, 1928 in Akron, Ohio to the late Elton and Rose Rex. She married George “Bud” Iles on June 5, 1948 in Akron. He died May 6, 2016.

Mrs. Iles enjoyed crocheting, crafts and cooking and was a devoted wife and mother.

She is survived by a daughter, Deborah Ilse; five grandchildren, Jason (Angela) Iles, Jeffrey (Jillian) Iles, John Iles, Kelly Shock and Ric Arcuri; 12 great grandchildren; a great great grandson; two sisters, Eileen Snider and Pauline (Bob) Phillips; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, David Iles; and five sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 in the Marysville Funeral Home with visitation at 1 p.m.

Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, St. Clair.
