Diane J Evans

Diane June Evans, 76, of Port Huron, died Monday, January 14, 2019.

She was born October 16, 1942 in Port Huron to the late William and Dorothy Ramage. She married Carl Evans on June 25, 1966 at Court Street Baptist Church in Port Huron.

Mrs. Evans retired from Trinity Baptist School in Imlay City, where she taught for several years. She later worked at the Harrington Inn. She taught Sunday School for many years at Grace Life Baptist.

She is survived by her husband, Carl; a son, David (Tammy) Evans of Pennsylvania; two daughters, Nancy Evans of Kansas, and Elizabeth (Matt) McPhillips of Kimball; 16 grandchildren; a sister, Joy Kendrick of Burton; a brother, Dennis (Debbie) Robison of Port Huron; and three nieces.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, January 17, 2019 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 18, 2019 in Grace Life Baptist Church. Pastor Matt McPhillips, Mrs. Evans’ son-in-law, will officiate.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
