Bethel Hunter

Bethel Lou Hunter, 76, of Marysville, died Sunday, January 20, 2019.

She was born January 5, 1943 to the late Shirley and Bertha Stevens. She married Colen Paul Hunter on February 24, 1960 in West Virginia.

Bethel owned and operated Beth’s Daycare for twelve years. She enjoyed shopping, going out to lunch and growing flowers. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Paul; children, Gary Hunter and Tammy (Don) Badger; grandchildren, Christopher (Lisa) Badger and Paul (Melissa) Badger; great grandchildren, Tyler, Kadie, Allison and Jayden Badger; brothers, David (Clara) Stevens and Ebby Stevens; many nieces and nephews; and best canine friend, Mickey. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Carl, Ray, Charlie, Teddy, Doug, Joe, Roy, Billy and Clay.

Visitation will be from 5-8 pm Friday in the Marysville Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, January 26, 2019 in the Marysville Funeral Home with visitation from 10:00 until the time of the service. The Reverend Jim Huff will officiate. Burial will be in Richmond Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Blue Water Area Humane Society.
