Shirley M Daft

Shirley May Daft, 87, of Port Huron died Monday, January 21, 2019.

She was born August 15, 1931 in Canada to the late Charles & Florence Dunn. She married Robert E. Daft on July 23, 1949 in Port Huron. He preceded her in death on November 27, 1992.

Mrs. Daft was the chief inspector of quality control for many years. She enjoyed shopping, reading and watching the Detroit Tigers.

She is survived by sons, Kenneth (Betty) and Bryan (Christine) Daft; daughters, Bonnie (Lawrence) Taylor, Sharon (Thomas) Hansen, Robin (Russell) Shannon, Glenys (Ernest) Fountain, Kathleen (Doug) Goodman and Kimberly (Raymond) Fountain; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 43 years, Robert; and two sons, Duaine and Dwight Daft.

Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 25, 2019 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation starting at 9:30 a.m.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Richard Spencer, Howard Huffman, Charles Wehrwein, Keith Daft, Jason Goodman and Lee Fountain.
