Linda S Steinhaus
Linda Sue Steinhaus, 68, of Port Huron, died Saturday, February 9, 2019.
She was born June 16, 1950 in Detroit to Richard and Jean Neff. She married John P. Winkel in 1969 and he preceded her in death in 1996. She married Emil Steinhaus Jr. in 2002 and he preceded her in death in 2014. Linda worked for 39 years at Port Huron Hospital in registration, as a nurse’s aide, and as a unit secretary. She was a member of the American Legion Charles Hammond Post #8 Auxiliary.
Linda is survived by two daughters, Sherilyn (Larry) Crump and Tracy (Jeff) Willard; a sister, Sandy Kimball; two brothers, Jeff and Andy (Jan) Maken; three nieces, Michelle (Chris) Nesbitt, Cindy (Howard) Powell, and Kim Neff; two nephews, Gerald (Wendy) Neff and Greg (Jennifer) Maken; five grandchildren, Garrett (Denielle) Willard, Cullen (Kirsten) Willard, Parker (Lily) Willard, Paul (Bri) Downing, and Ashley (Jared) Ford; two great grandsons, Thatcher Ford and Linus Willard; and grand nieces and nephews, Connor and Abigaile Nesbitt, Lesa (Chris) Brown, Jillian Parker, and Ellie and Ray Maken. She was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald Neff, and a grandson, Hunter Willard.
Memorial Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, February 11, 2019 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Blue Water Area Humane Society, American Legion Charles Hammond Post #8, Hunter Hospitality House, or McLaren Hospice.
