Michael Edward Alston Sr., 57, of Port Huron, died Thursday, March 13, 2019.
He was born December 18, 1961 in Memphis, Tennessee to Nancy and the late David Alston.
Mr. Alston was a certified luthier, which is a person who makes guitars and stringed instruments. He enjoyed riding his moped and being outdoors.
He is survived by three children, Charles Alston, Jeremy Alston and Jared Wilson; six grandchildren; his mother, Nancy Alston; and a daughter-in-law, Suzann (Phillip) Weaver. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Alston Jr.; and two brothers, David Jr. and Robert Alston.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 24, 2019 in Full Gospel Church of God with visitation beginning at 12:30 p.m.
