James Lee Lloyd, 45, of Port Huron, died Tuesday, April 9, 2019.

He was born July 5, 1973 in Darby, Pennsylvania to Diane and the late Leroy Lloyd. He married Laurene German on August 24, 2002 in Morton, Pennsylvania.

James volunteered at The Salvation Army where he was a dedicated bell ringer and helped with the basketball program. He was a member of Port Huron Assembly of God and also volunteered there as a greeter and as a children’s helper. He was an enthusiastic sign bearer for Liberty Tax. He enjoyed Big Time Wrestling and was a Philadelphia Phillies fan.

He is survived by his wife, Laurene; his mother, Diane Lloyd; a brother-in-law, Fred German; a sister-in-law, Kimberly Worrell; nephew, Logan Worrell; niece, Christina Ganim; and several cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 in Port Huron Assembly of God with visitation at 10 a.m. The Rev. Joseph Sozyc will officiate.
