Jerry Woods

Jerry Mae Woods, 69, of Port Huron, made her transition Wednesday, June 19, 2019.

She was born May 3, 1950 in Detroit to the late William and Geraldine Phillips. She married David Woods, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Woods was a member of Restoration Christian Community Church. She loved spending time with her family and having a good time.

She is survived by a son, Christopher Phillips; two grandchildren, Zion Imani Phillips and Christian Armani-Robert Phillips; nieces, Angela Arlene Phillips, Nicole Sandrea Phillips, Kimberly Delores Phillips and Samantha Olivia Hill; a brother-in-law, David Boozer; a daughter-in-law, Colleen Adonia Osbon-Phillips; her caregiver, Carol Collingwood; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a sister, Joann Hill; and a brother-in-law Samuel (Sonny) Hill.

A service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 29, 2019 in Restoration Christian Community Church. Pastor Carl E. Miller will officiate.

Burial will be at 1:00 PM on Sunday, June 30, 2019 in Elmwood Cemetery, Detroit, Michigan.
