Donald P Murray

Donald Patrick Murray, 77, of Deckerville, died Saturday, July 6, 2019.

He was born November 13, 1941 in Sandusky to the late Neil and Anna Murray.

During his working career Donald was employed as a Sanilac County Sheriff’s Deputy, Deckerville Village Police Officer, Ambulance Driver and managed Weiss Farm Equipment in Cass City. He was a Life Member and Past Master of Marion Lodge #392 F&AM. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and training dogs for competitive hunting.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Neita; children, Angela (Trevor) Wagester, Donald (Connie) Murray, and Scott Murray; step-children, Bonnie Moddejonge and Cherie (Norm) Guthrie; ten grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2019 in the Riverlawn Cemetery Chapel. The Reverend Bob Schrock will officiate.
