Mark J Seguin

Mark James Seguin, 58, of Wales, died Monday, November 18, 2019.

He was born May 15, 1961 in Mount Clemens to Sandy and the late Moe Seguin. He married Cindy L. Saari on July 1, 2006 at their home in Wales.

Mark graduated from Romeo High School in 1979. He worked for Bermar Associates in Troy as Plant Manager for 28 years. Mark was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, going four-wheeling, snowmobiling and motorcycling, and spending time up north. He enjoyed most sports, especially football, hockey, basketball, Nascar and golf. Mark was a history buff with a photographic memory, a talented bargain hunter, and was usually the life of the party. He prioritized others above himself and “never met a stranger”. Most importantly, Mark loved his family, and was especially proud of his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy; daughter, Jamie (Terry) Allison; twin granddaughters, Kylee & Khloe Allison; mother, Sandy Seguin; two brothers, Dean Seguin and Scot (Lori) Seguin; a sister, Shelle (Michael) Moore; sisters-in-law, Connie Aho, Polly Saari, Cheryl (Dennis) Jilek, Susie (Lee) Lenion, and Pat Latimer; and many nieces and nephews including Terris Kimberling, Ryley, Kendall, Mitchell and Zachary Seguin, Ashley, Breanna, Makayla, and Logan Moore; and his special “10 lb rat” dog, Spritzy.

He was preceded in death by his father; parents-in-law, Eva and Paul Saari; and brother-in-law, Phil Aho.

A memorial gathering and luncheon will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2019 from 1-6 p.m. at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 2645 Howard St., Port Huron.
