Barbara J Rose

Barbara Joan Rose, 70, of St. Clair, died Friday, December 27, 2019.

She was born June 23, 1949 in Port Huron to the late Warren and Joan Lake. She married Thomas Grant Rose on September 24, 1966 in Lakeport.

Barbara was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved caring for her family.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Thomas; three children, Dawn (Steve) Leverenz; Kimberly (Pat) Prevost, and Jennifer Rose; seven grandchildren, Stephen (Stephanie) and Christopher (Shandra) Leverenz, Casey Rose, Thomas Sawdon, and Justin, Jacob, and Kaylynn Prevost; six great grandchildren, Connor, Christopher, Carter, Lillian, Matthew, and Luke; three brothers, Patrick (Gail), Robert (Karen), and Mark (Glenda) Lake; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Private family services have been held.

Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Port Huron Township.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or McLaren Hospice.
