Vernon M Rich

Vernon M. Rich, 78, of Port Huron, died Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at home surrounded by family.

He was born March 27, 1941 in Deckerville to the late Earl and Bertha Rich.

Vernon was employed as a truck driver with Maynard Meat Packing and retired from Weeks Meats in Richmond.

He enjoyed camping and fishing.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Dixie; four children, Deborah Heacock, Vernon Rich, Pamela Stone, and Patricia Rich; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings, Carl (Donna) Rich, Beulah Perez, Barb Auxier and James Rich; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Donald Rich and Joseph Kilbourne; three sisters and seven brothers.

The family will have a visitation for Vernon on Saturday, January 4, 2020 from 1-4 p.m. in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Ruby Cemetery, Clyde Township.
