William C. "Wild Bill" Brenton
William Charles "Wild Bill" Brenton, 85, of Port Huron, died Thursday, January 30, 2020.
He was born September 19, 1934 in Port Huron to the late Frank and Margaret Brenton. He married Nancy Jean Kelly on January 29, 1989 at their home in Port Huron.
Bill was employed with Chrysler Corporation as a millwright for 44 years before his retirement. He served in the U.S. Army in the 82nd Airborne Division as a paratrooper. Bill loved riding motorcycles, bowling and, most importantly, spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy; nine children, Cherry Mosurak (Mark Rucker), LeeAnn Brenton, Deborah Inch, Tim Knisley, Gary (Stacie) Brenton, Allen (Tracey) Brenton, Bill Brenton Jr. (Cheryl Molinaro), Matt Brenton and Mike (Kendra) Munn; 25 grandchildren, including Dr. Lee (Kalena) Mosurak, DeShila, Joe, Garret, Marissa, Jake, Alleana, Sawyer Brenton, Jalen and Zaviae Esters, Scott Knisley, and Nick Bark; many great grandchildren; and two brothers, Bob (Sharen) Brenton and Rick Miller. He was preceded in death by a son, John Brenton; a granddaughter, JJ; and a sister, Patricia Smith.
Private family services have been held.
