Raymond Surline
Raymond Surline, 92, of Kimball Township, died Friday, February 28, 2020 in Port Huron.
He was born April 20, 1927 in Port Huron to the late Russell Surline and Sadie Thomas. He married Barbara (Keeler) Clapp on July 18, 1987 in Kimball.
Raymond proudly served with the United States Marines during World War II and always said Semper Fi. He sailed the Great Lakes for several years and then was employed with Huron Automatic Screw Company.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; a brother, Russell Surline; a sister, Wilma McPherson; and several nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Clayton, Murray, Norman, and Russell Jr.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, August 7, 2020 in Caswell Cemetery, Kimball Township. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Marine Corps and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Clair County Allied Veterans.
