Raymond Surline

April 20th, 1927 to February 28th, 2020

Raymond Surline, 92, of Kimball Township, died Friday, February 28, 2020 in Port Huron.

He was born April 20, 1927 in Port Huron to the late Russell and Sadie Surline. He married Barbara (Keeler) Clapp on July 18, 1987 in Kimball.

Raymond proudly served with the United States Marines during World War II and always said Semper Fi. He sailed the Great Lakes for several years and then was employed with Huron Automatic Screw Company.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara; brother, Russell Surline; a sister, Wilma McPherson; and several nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Clayton, Murray, Norman, and Russell Jr.

Services will be held in April with military honors conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Marine Corp and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.

Burial will be in Caswell Cemetery.
