James Brennan
James Patrick “Jay Bee” Brennan, 64, of Yale died March 11, 2020 after a long illness.
He was born November 17, 1955 in Detroit to the late Raymond and Catherine Brennan. He married Mary Cathy Cooney in 1997 in Port Huron.
James was a U.S. Navy veteran and a member of American Legion Yale Post #320. He retired from Chrysler in 2007 with 31 years of service and later drove truck part-time for Witco in Yale. He loved rebuilding cars and motorcycles, riding his motorcycles, tractor pulling and oval track racing.
He is survived by his wife, Cathy; two daughters, Christina Ann (Lemuel) Walton of Harper Woods and Tracy Marie (Keith) Betts of Berville; two sons, Paul Edward Dicks and Michael Charles Mogan, both of Yale; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two brothers, Michael Brennan of St. Clair Shores and Terrance Brennan of Warren; many good friends; and his riding brothers of the Loyal Riders Motorcycle Club, Flatlands Chapter.
Jay Bee’s Last Ride and memorial service will be held at a later date at FLRMC Clubhouse, 8060 Shephard Road, Brown City, MI 48454.
Inurnment will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Yale in the spring.
