William Robert Sinnett, 88, of Port Huron and Port Isabel, Texas, known to many as “The Frog”, died Tuesday, May 12, 2020.

He was born February 4, 1932 in Windsor, Ontario to the late John and Mona Sinnett.

William was employed with the Coca Cola Bottling Company for many years. He also played professional hockey in the NHL with the Montreal Canadiens and ended his career with the Port Huron Flags. He enjoyed softball and played for many years in the Blue Water area where he made many lifelong friends. He also loved to watch sports, go to karaoke, and was a country western music fan. If you met “The Frog” once, you would never forget him. He was a character who loved socializing with family and friends and entertaining on his boat the “S.S. Frog”.

He is survived by his children, Danny Sinnett, Bonnie Lee-Cameron, Anita (Randy) Sovereen, Roger Humphrey, Angela (Tim) Castillo-Bishop, Byron (Julie) Humphrey and Jacqueline (Brett) Rodecap; fifteen grandchildren; and many great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Patricia Humphrey-Sinnett in 2018; a granddaughter, Jessica Humphrey; and brother, Jack Sinnett.
