Frederick A Bearman

Frederick Alfred Bearman, 71, of Port Huron died Saturday, June 27, 2020.

He was born March 21, 1949 in Albion to the late Frederick C. and Doris I. Bearman. He married Lynn L. Sherman on September 4, 1981 in Battle Creek.

Fred worked as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist at several hospitals in Southeast Michigan prior to his retirement. He was a self-taught woodworker, loved music and singing, and was a lifelong supporter of the arts. He was particularly passionate about his Scottish heritage and the Scottish arts. Fred enjoyed watching the water and the freighters no matter the time of year. Most important to Fred, though, was his family. He loved spending time with his wife and daughter, and especially planning thoughtful surprises, activities and trips for his loved ones.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Lynn; daughter, Abby (Ryan) Chandanais; sister, Kathi (Dave) O’Neill; niece, Carrie (Carl) Ireland; and great nephew, Jack Knox. He was preceded in death by a sister, Geri (Chuck) Ramey.

A wake will be announced later this summer.
