She married James Arter on March 18, 1983 in Toledo, Ohio. Gloria was an Account Executive for the Advisor and Source Newspaper for many years. Gloria was very artistic and expressed her talents beautifully through painting and decorating her home with love. She filled her mornings with joy watching the birds, a few crazy squirrels here and there, her resident ducks, whom she affectionately named Drake and Henrietta, turkeys and deer, all from her back porch. Gloria enjoyed being social and going to lunch with friends, playing euchre, board games, vegetable canning, collecting antiques, spending time in her flower gardens, but most of all being with family. She will be remembered for touching so many lives with her infectious laugh. She is survived by her husband, James; five children, Elizabeth Hartley-Bianchi, Jennifer (James) Bell, Duane (Alicia) Hartley, Jayme (Ronnie) Love and Richard Arter; 7 grandchildren, Keely, Chris, Stephen, Ben, Jonathan, Lila and Jaymes; 5 great grandchildren, Palmer, Sutton, Madisen, Jacksen and Liam; sister, Sylvia Barrons; brothers-in-law, Tim (Cheryl) Arter and John (Kim) Arter; and several nieces and nephews.
