Myrtle J Bristle

Myrtle J. Bristle, 88, of Port Huron, died Wednesday, September 2, 2020.

She was born June 28, 1932 in Port Huron to the late Ernest and Mary Johnson. She married Eugene C. Bristle in March 1954 in Port Huron. He died December 19, 2001.

Mrs. Bristle was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed sewing, making dolls and going to bingo.

She is survived by five daughters, Mary (Dwight) French, Schemida Marriott, Linda Bristle, Bonnie (Mike) Borowski and Ernestine (Jerry) MacDonald; daughter in law, Ramona Bristle; 18 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; a sister, Shirley Ann Wisswell; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Eugene Bristle Jr. and Robert Bristle; and a brother, Norman Johnson;

Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. A limited number of people will be allowed in at a time. Please wear a mask for the comfort and safety of others.

Private services for the family will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 10, 2020 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. The Reverend William Wright will officiate.

Burial will follow in Caswell Cemetery. Friends are welcome to join the procession at 11:45 a.m. Her grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
