Eugene Terrence McCain, 57, of Port Huron, died Monday, September 21, 2020.

He was born March 27, 1963 in Port Huron.

Mr. McCain was employed with St. Vincent de Paul. He enjoyed singing, drawing, fishing, playing games, and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; his mother, Marie Smith; four children, Eugene McCain, Antonio (Jessica) Phillips, Lashay Phillips and Trella Lee; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; eight siblings, Denise (Larry) Bates, Yvette (Aundrey) Henderson, James Smith, Ron L. Smith; Tennille (Cash) Gushiniere, Elijah Gunter Jr., Tyree Taylor and Jermaine Hollis; special brother-in-law, Brodrick Dinkins; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and friends, Denise “Dee Dee” Edwards and Vanderlee “Peedie” Walker. He was preceded in death by his father, Elijah Gunter; stepfather, James E. Smith; grandmother, Lois McCain; and mother-in-law, Mary Dinkins.

A memorial service for family will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2020 in Bethlehem Temple Church. Bishop Marvin Mitchell will officiate. Please wear a mask and practice social distancing for the safety and comfort of others.
