Lynda Ann Wilson

May 21st, 1947 to November 29th, 2020

Lynda Ann Wilson, 73, of St. Clair, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2020 of natural causes.

Lynda was born May 21, 1947 in Port Huron to the late Charles and Virginia Wilson.

Lynda always had a smile on her face. She loved her cats, dancing, birthday and Christmas presents, snow, balloons, greeting cards with money in them, SpaghettiOs, and getting a shot at the doctor’s office. Although non-verbal since birth, there was no misunderstanding the wrath she bestowed upon you when she was not happy about something.

Lynda had many people in the last 10 years of her life that helped make caring for her easier on her sister and brother-in-law, Cheryl and Alan Northrup. First and foremost, Jojo Squires of Squires Adult Foster Care Family Home; longtime caregiver, Debbie Langan; Jo Grace; Heather Gardner and her staff at LifeSkills; Dr. Peter Cavatiao, caseworker, Greta Nichols; and “Curley,” her bus driver on A-12 that always gave her a corsage on her birthday. We are so grateful for each and every one of you and loved having you a part of our family.

In addition to Cheryl and Alan, Lynda is survived by her caregiver, Jojo Squires of Fort Gratiot; sisters, Susan (Phil) Lindal of Yale and Brenda (Rick) Palmer of Hudson, North Carolina; nephew, Tom Gleason; niece, McKenzie Palmer; and special aunt, Ellen Innis of Ardmore, Oklahoma. Lynda was a Great Aunt to Leah Gleason and Jacob (Kelsey) Gleason; and a Great Great Aunt to Addison and Jaedon Gleason. Lynda was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, David Wilson.

Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, December 4, 2020 in Riverlawn Cemetery.
